South Urban Growth Area Storm Drain Facilities

This project provided backbone storm drainage facilities to serve the build-out of Woodland’s South Urban Growth Area. The project included the design of a 333-acre-foot detention basin, approximately two and one half miles of partially lined and unlined trapezoidal channel, seven reinforced concrete box structures, and passive recreation facilities including a pedestrian pathway, parking facilities, fencing, landscaping, and wildlife viewing platforms.
