Wood Rodgers has recently been selected as the prime contractor for a five-year on-call contract with Caltrans to assist in completion of various Tahoe Basin stormwater task assignments. Included are seven separate stormwater planning and design task assignments encompassing stormwater quality and EIP improvements on SR89 in El Dorado County from South Lake Tahoe to the Placer County line, as well as additional assignments covering approximately one mile of EIP work on US50 near Echo Lake and two miles on SR267.
Wood Rodgers is currently performing a task assignment study for Caltrans and the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board to identify areas where existing natural conditions provide adequate treatment of storm water runoff Natural Environment As Treatment (N.E.A.T.). The study area examines 40 miles of roadside environments along State Highway 89 and US Highway 50 from Tahoe City to Echo Lake. The N.E.A.T. project was recently selected for TRPA’s Best in the Basin Awards.
