Cosumnes CSD, Storm Water Management Plan

Wood Rodgers developed a comprehensive Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) plan for the Elk Grove Community Services District (EGCSD) that when implemented, will address the potential for storm water pollution to occur as the result of their maintenance, operational and construction activities. The SWMP also identifies pollutants of concern and a plan for characterizing and evaluating pollutants of concern. In addition to developing the SWMP, Wood Rodgers also assisted the EGCSD with implementation. This included: developing approved best management practices (BMPs) for design, construction and maintenance activities; implementing a storm water public education program, developing maintenance and operational procedures and protocols in relation to storm water quality; developing storm water quality monitoring protocols and implementation plans; and also includes a plan for addressing total maximum daily loadings a 303 (d) listed water body located within the EGCSD’s jurisdiction.
