One primary area of expertise for Wood Rodgers is the aviation business where our seasoned professionals provide aviation design services for locations throughout the west coast. These services include aviation planning, airport engineering (both landside and airside), surveying, and mapping as well as construction support services.

Wood Rodgers has extensive aviation design experience ranging from runway, taxiway and apron design to airfield service roads, terminal renovations, parking facilities and other landside design. Several of our terminal renovation projects include extensive changes to TSA security sensitive areas. Our aviation experience ranges from Medium/Large Hub airports (e.g. Oakland International Airport, Reno-Tahoe International Airport) to general aviation airports (e.g. Ely, Nevada; Rio Vista, California) to Cargo companies such as Federal Express. We take great pride in delivering complicated projects with extensive construction and phasing constraints to our aviation clients.
