The Baggage Check-in Facility project consisted of the first ever design-build aviation project in the State of Nevada. This highly security sensitive project dictated that only two sets of plans existed during the entire construction project, both on secure airport property. Our role on this project was to assist the design-build contractor in developing the final construction plans allowing for the development of the final terminal retrofit and baggage handling system to be installed in a newly expanded building. This work consisted of plans for a temporary sprung structure, temporary pavement and utility upgrades as well as security fencing for the temporary facility.
