Well and Pump Station Design Services

Location
Ceres, California

“Wood Rodgers’ hydrogeology group has been of the highest quality, they have been very responsive, and worked at a quick pace when necessary. {…} We have grown to rely on them for our well related services. I would highly recommend them.”
– Phil Scott,
Former Public Works Director

Ceres, California

Wood Rodgers provided the design and construction support for three new wells and pump stations.Wood Rodgers helped the City obtain American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Funding by providing an expedited well and pump station design to qualify their Well 38 project as “shovel ready,” allowing the City of Ceres (City) to receive 100% project funding through ARRA. In less than six months, Well 38 and the associated pump station were constructed and obtained full California Department of Public Health (CDPH) acceptance. Wood Rodgers also provided the City with the design and construction support services for two additional wells and pump stations that also meet all CDPH drinking water standards.

Two of the City’s older wells produced excessive sand and failed to meet CDPH water quality requirements. The City retained Wood Rodgers to assess these wells and provide recommendations to return them to service. With Wood Rodgers’ recommendations, these wells were modified and rehabilitated and have subsequently been returned to service supplying drinking water that meets all CDPH water quality standards with less then one ppm sand production.
