Wood Rodgers was retained by Del Webb to design an aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) well for their Westpark subdivision, which would become part of the City of Roseville’s (City) municipal water supply and storage infrastructure. The City requirements included all-stainless steel casing components and a design capacity of 1,800 gallons per minute (gpm). Wood Rodgers provided exploration drilling for three locations, two ASR well designs, and construction management for Well W-77, which is one of Roseville’s highest yielding wells and meets all drinking water standards. The Wood Rodgers project approach saved Del Webb $178,000 on the construction of Well W-77 while meeting all of the City’s project requirements and objectives.
