Wood Rodgers was retained by the Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) to complete the Project Study Report (PSR) and the Project Report (PR) for US Highway 50/Stateline project. The project area stretches approximately two miles along US 50 in the California/Nevada Stateline area within the City of South Lake Tahoe in California and within Douglas County in Nevada. The project proposes to realign US 50 around the commercial core area to promote redevelopment and multi-modal opportunities in the area and to ease traffic congestion. There are currently two alternatives being considered; one of which proposes the installation of roundabouts at the eastern end of the project. All alternatives include significant right-of-way and community impacts, and require significant outreach efforts by Wood Rodgers.
