Wood Rodgers designed the extension of International Drive to accommodate the projected growth within the City of Ranch Cordova. The project required a new six-lane roadway, a new bridge spanning a canal, retaining walls, extension and integration of the citywide bicycle/pedestrian trail, and new signalized intersections at Kilgore Road and Sunrise Boulevard. Wood Rodgers also prepared the complete structural PS&E for the six-lane pre-stressed concrete bridge and the numerous retaining walls that were required due to existing site constraints. Coordination efforts between the various disciplines within Wood Rodgers ensured that the project was delivered in an efficient and timely manner.
