Wood Rodgers provided design services for widening Bradshaw Road from two to four lanes between Calvine Road and Florin Road (three miles) in eastern Sacramento County. The project included construction of new bridges at Laguna Creek and Gerber Creek, construction of a 12-foot wide raised landscaped median, construction of bicycle and pedestrian facilities, reconstruction of an at-grade railroad crossing, relocation of existing overhead and underground utilities, modification of existing traffic signals and installation of a 48-inch water main. Wood Rodgers also provided right-of-way engineering services, and completed a full hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of both waterways for the project.
