The under-utilized Cow Palace property is currently characterized by vast parking lots and a variety of outdated, seismically unstable buildings. To meet the local need for retail, office and residential uses, the plan proposed that the property be redeveloped as a mixed-use community. The development concept extends the surrounding grid of streets into the site, connecting the project with the surrounding community. Envisioned uses include commercial and office along Geneva Boulevard, with a mix of housing, parks and open space areas throughout.
