The key organizing feature of Natomas Central is a large lake located at the heart of the community, along which are walkways, bike paths, and a boat launch facilities. All of the project’s community spaces are located along the lake, including a native landscape parkway, two neighborhood parks, and a recreation center. The Mediterranean theme of Natomas Central is enhanced through streetscape, monumentation and planting design. Wood Rodgers managed the project from conceptual design to construction.
