Wood Rodgers provided the civil engineering design, regulatory permitting and project team design coordination for this 12-acre mixed-use commercial development. The project consists of multiple commercial tenants, including two 35,000 square-foot office buildings, a 25,000 square-foot daycare facility, a TGI Friday’s restaurant, and numerous specialty food and retail shops. Wood Rodgers’ project responsibilities included the preparation of a master site grading plan, the civil engineering design of building pads, parking lots and access roads, water sewer, and fire protection utility systems, and the design of a stormwater collection and treatment system. Additional responsibilities included the preparation of the stormwater pipe hydraulic calculations and the preparation of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), the construction contract documents and technical specifications, and monitoring the project construction schedule.
