Wood Rodgers was selected for this five-year, $25-million contract by the Department of Water Resources to provide engineering support services for the Central Valley Floodplain Evaluation and Delineation project. Responsibilities include coordination, quality control, and study management for the Lower Sacramento River System. Data collected for this project exceeds four terrabytes and is continually growing. GIS is being used in all aspects of the project including project management, data acquisition, data management, pre- and post-processing of data for model input, and visualizing modeling results.
