The Nevada State Public Works Board “Phase B” project consists of the construction of an approximate 900 square foot masonry building for the housing of multiple generators and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) equipment. Wood Rodgers provided construction management for the project that included administration, project management, construction observation and special inspection, materials testing, and associated laboratory testing for SWPPP’s, BMP’s and turbidity curtain installation and water monitoring, State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) boundary monitoring, mass grading, and soils stabilization. Observation and monitoring occurred on unsuspected excavated contaminated soils and water (ground and contained lake) at the Marlette Lake pump site location due to previous pump structure and diesel generating system.
