South Lake Tahoe, California
This erosion control improvement project is located in the Angora 3 Fire Zone Rehabilitation residential development. It consisted of the construction of curb and gutter with tie-in asphalt concrete paving, sediment traps, drainage inlets, culverts, rock-lined-channel, grass-lined swales, tree removal, sod salvage and transport, porous pavement, sediment basin, and bio-retention areas including humus, mulch, and tackifier applications. Wood Rodger’s primary role on this project was to provide construction management and full time on-site inspection and materials testing during all phases of construction.
This project was located in a Tier-1 Sensitive Environmental Zone of the Tahoe Basin and required strict compliance with the project SWPPP plan and California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC), Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) and Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board regulations. Wood Rodgers personnel also provided project management and performed water sampling and analysis (NTU documentation) during all water diversion and storm event activity, completed force account tracking, extra work order(s) documentation, 30-day bid item pay estimate submittals, and performed a final project walk-through.
