Mitigation & Monitoring

Projects that disturb the natural environment require some level of mitigation planning, implementation, and monitoring to mitigate for unavoidable impacts and to determine if those required activities were successful. Wood Rodgers’ keystone to success has been our close working relationship with our civil design group to develop project designs that include inherent mitigation. As a part of the proposed project, we identify where impacts can be avoided or minimized through design adjustments. Thus, mitigation is only required for unavoidable impacts. Wood Rodgers is well versed in mitigation planning including line item monitoring to determine success for a wide variety of public and private clients resulting in cost effective and cutting edge site rehabilitation, restoration of habitats and physical attributes monitoring and reporting.
