Fiddyment Ranch proposes 4,170 dwelling units, 30-acres of commercial/office uses, and over 600-acres of public facilities including schools, parks, open space, and natural resource preserve areas at the northwestern edge of Roseville, California. Wood Rodgers provided a full range of planning and engineering services in this 1,670-acre master planned community including preparation of design studies, technical support for General Plan Amendment, Rezone, Annexation, Specific Plan, Tentative Subdivision Maps, and Improvement Plans for Phases 1 and 2. Engineering design included two major bridge spans across Pleasant Grove Creek. In addition, Wood Rodgers provided stormwater consulting services seeking to avoid impacts to sensitive wetlands. Addressing construction site runoff and potential pollutants were a key focus in maintaining water quality. The design and placement of temporary detention stormwater ponds and an Advanced Treatment Systems (ATS) layout design allowed our client to work year round while ensuring water quality and regulatory standards were met throughout the duration of the project.
