The development of the Silver Springs Community involved a large scale community outreach program that included close coordination with Lyon County staff to ensure the plan would be consistent and compatible with overall County efforts, visions, policies and broad based land use designations. We worked to create a plan for a vibrant, balanced self sustaining community with an identity that offered a variety of housing types and densities, employment opportunities and commercial services and amenities for residents.

A complete and comprehensive master plan document was prepared which includes an overall master land use plan with zoning; use tables and definitions; and design standards and requirements for parking, landscaping, setbacks, rural interface, trails, parks, etc. all of which are new to Lyon County.
